Greetings from BINUS UNIVERSITY!

It’s our joy to be able to announce International Thematic Camp @SIS 2019, conducted by our distinguished School of Information Systems. This Program Open for All major and department of study. The program aims to facilitate the students from all over the world to see the exotic Bali with the extensive design thinking learning experience on making a plan and design solution of e-tourism, information system in service industry, mobility, user experience, and innovation. This Year Themes of International Thematic Camp @SIS 2019 is “Design The Future”. The participants will design the future with design thinking method that will be learn on this camp. The participants will be challenged to involved in several community outreach activity to get information and design a better future based on situation in Bali. The program will run on August 21-25.

We are inviting both students from Indonesia and overseas.

School of Information Systems BINUS University are proudly presents “International Thematic Camp @SIS 2019, BINUS University, Indonesia”. This program will be held on August 21-25, 2019 at Denpasar, Indonesia

Themes
Themes of International Thematic Camp @SIS 2019 is “Design The Future”. The participants will design the future with design thinking method that will be learn on this camp. The participants will be challenged to make a better future based on situation in Bali.

Description
International Thematic Camp @SIS 2019 is 5 days course based on project approach. In this program, students are expected to make a plan and design solution of e-tourism, information system in services industry, mobility, user experience, and innovation.
This program is limited only for 20 participants.
The participants must be responsible with their roundtrip airfare ticket

Program Goals
By joining this program, it’s expected that participant will improve their soft skills and knowledge about current trends in information systems. The program goals of ITC at SIS 2019 are:
1.       Create strong connections while learning the values of collaboration and respect each other.
2.       Give insight about information systems and its application.

Schedule
·         The summer school will begin on Wednesday, 21 August and close with an exciting presentation on Sunday, 25 August. There will be lecturing session, seminar, hands-on work based on real case project, group project presentation, and practical development sessions.
·         Students are requested to bring a laptop to engage in the interactive portions of the school.

Venue
Accommodation
International and National Students will be accommodated at Denpasar, Indonesia’s Hotel with two pax / Room . All lectures and practical sessions will be held on Denpasar, Indonesia.

Fees
The registration fee includes tuition, accommodation and all meals, snack during the breaks. Upon acceptance to ITC @SIS , participants will receive an email detailing the payment procedure.

·         Registration is open now and will be closed on 21th June 2019.
·         Announcement date: 28th June 2019.
We will select participants based on their CV and 1-page motivation statement (see below for details). Participants will be notified of their acceptance will assign slots on a first-come, first-served basis.
