[Announcement & Safety Warning] 05/22-05/28 - All Classes Conducted as Guided Self Learning Classes

Dear international students,

As results of the Indonesian presidential election 2019 will be announced on Wednesday, 22 May 2019, the police has informed that there is increased risk of riots and even terrorist attacks in the following days. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid especially KPU Building in Menteng and the BAWASLU Building on Jl. Thamrin in the Central Jakarta district. Demonstrations are also expected in Surabaya and Medan.

The police has secured additional forces and, if necessary, streets may be closed in the affected areas.
Please kindly avoid the masses in the upcoming days and follow news for the most recent updates.

For this reason, BINUS management has announced that
(1)    For BINUS regular programs, the classes scheduled between 22 - 28 May will be conducted as the guided self-learning classes.
Your lecturers will communicate assignments via Binus Maya and/or email.
In other words, sessions will be conducted online, so there is no need to appear physically in classes.
Please contact your lecturers for any further guidance on the academics.

(2)    For BINUS International programs (both in JWC Campus and FX Campus), the classes between 22 - 28 May will be rescheduled.
Regular teaching and learning activities will resume on Monday 17 June and the rescheduled classes will be conducted from 26 June to 2 July, which may entail some classes scheduled on a Saturday. If you need further information, please contact Student Services or Lecturer Services.
