BINUS UNIVERSITY Ranked 227th in the QS University Rankings ASIA 2021

The global higher education ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds released its QS ASIA University Rankings 2021 based on the results of surveying more than 634 educational institutions in ASIA. This year, BINUS UNIVERSITY rose to 227th position from its 234th position previously. In addition, BINUS UNIVERSITY is ranked 7th out of the best universities in Indonesia and is one of the only universities to hold the 4 Star predicate in the country.

Common Purpose Leadership Program 2020 for Future Young Leaders

BINUS University was invited by Common Purpose to send our students’ delegates to join the Global Leadership Forum Asia Pacific 2020 last October. There were 44 students from BINUS Global Class, exchange students, and full-degree international students represented BINUS University in the event.

Welcoming BINUSIAN 2024

BINUS INTERNATIONAL and BINUS Northumbria School of Design also held the First Year Program (FYP) for BINUSIAN 2024. Held online via ZOOM Cloud Meetings from 26 August until the end of September 2020, the FYP is a program that was designed to welcome the new students and further introduces them to BINUS, including the curriculum and study method, as well as its vision, mission, and values.

The FYP was opened by the Welcoming Speech and Introduction to BINUS University and BINUSIAN Values session by Win Ce (BINUS @Senayan Campus Director). In the session, Win Ce introduce the BINUS University 2035 Vision; A World-class university, fostering and empowering the society in building and serving the nation.

He also explained the missions to achieve that goal; educating BINUSIANs to develop exemplary characters through a holistic approach that meets global standards, resolving the nation’s issues through high impact research, fostering BINUSIANs as lifelong learners through self-enrichment, empowering BINUSIANs to continuously improve society’s quality of life, and being the main driver to enrich the BINUS Higher Education system.

Journal of ASEAN Studies has been included in Scopus

Prof. Tirta, Editor in Chief for the Journal of ASEAN Studies, Vice Rector of Research and Technology Transfer (RTTO) at BINUS UNIVERSITY, shared our RTTO’s achievement on the inclusion of the Journal of ASEAN Studies in Scopus, another milestone to our vision on fostering and empowering the society.

Bringing the Idea of Peace and Freedom of Expression through Fashion Collections at Paris Fashion Week 2020

Expressing ideas and personal expressions can be done through various means and media, such as writings, paintings, music, and of course, fashion collections.

In its second incarnation, this lecture series brought together prominent academic experts from leading universities across Indonesia and Australia to discuss pressing topics that are impacting the world today from public health and the post-COVID labor market to big data and beyond.
