NHL Stenden University of Applied Sciences has its roots dating back to the year 1845. It is an international oriented institution with strong ties to local communities and business where its educational concept combines an interdisciplinary approach with a practical focus.



The topics that will be covered are:

  *   introduction to the university

  *   programmes offered
  *   scholarship information
  *   international student life
  *   Q & A

Some information on the university:

  *   High quality and affordable education

Based on National Students Survey 2017 and 2018, NHL Stenden received great marks for internationalisation, practical skills and learning facilities. The overall score resulted in a positive ranking nationwide. Almost 80% of all NHL Stenden students is very satisfied with their study programme in general.

  *   Learning companies (theory meets practice)

The in-house Learning Companies are professional training enterprises for specific NHL Stenden degree programmes. The students will not only receive regular tutorial, they also benefit from training in a professional organisation, working on real assignments from external clients and gaining valuable hands on experience.

  *   Internship

Provide an essential link between education and employment.

  *   Design Based Education

All NHL Stenden programmes are in the process of implementing Design Based Education (DBE), an educational concept which emphasises co creation with regional and international organisations. The students will be working on practical assignments in small team of students, lecturers, researchers, and experts.
