Health Alert : 2019 Novel Coronavirus

[School Serpong - Auto Notification]

Dear ECY/EL BINUSIANS,

We write this letter to inform you of our school precautions with reference to novel coronavirus for the well-being of our school children and school personnel.

Kami menulis surat ini untuk memberi tahu Anda tentang tindakan pencegahan yang dilakukan sekolah kami berkenaan dengan novel coronavirus untuk keselamatan anak-anak dan staff sekolah kami.

Temperature Checks
We have increased the frequency of our temperature checks from 3x a week to a daily basis in the ECY & EL gates by our school nurses and assisting on-duty-teachers. Any student, teacher or staff with a temperature of 38 degrees & above will be made arrangements to be sent home. Parents are requested to keep their child/ren home until a medical clearance is sought for before sending back to school.

Pemeriksaan Suhu Tubuh
Kami telah meningkatkan frekuensi pemeriksaan suhu tubuh dari 3x seminggu menjadi rutin setiap hari di gerbang ECY & EL oleh perawat sekolah kami dan dibantu oleh guru yang bertugas. Siswa/i, guru, atau staf dengan suhu tubuh 38 derajat atau lebih akan dipulangkan dari sekolah. Orang tua diminta untuk menjaga anak mereka di rumah sampai mendapatkan izin medis sebelum kembali ke sekolah.

Recent Travel
As a precaution, we request that any family that has travelled to China and Southeast Asian countries with confirmed cases of novel coronavirus, keep their children home for at least 2 weeks. This is the incubation period as outlined by World Health Organization (WHO). Before returning to school, students, teachers & staff should provide a medical clearance from a reputable health institution. Class teachers will liaise with the parents of those children for missed schoolwork and/or homework.

Perjalanan Terakhir yang Anda lakukan
Sebagai tindakan pencegahan, kami meminta agar setiap keluarga yang telah melakukan perjalanan ke Cina dan negara-negara Asia Tenggara dengan kasus novel coronavirus, menjaga anak-anak mereka di rumah selama minimal 2 minggu. Ini adalah masa inkubasi yang digariskan oleh Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO). Sebelum kembali ke sekolah, siswa/i, guru & staf harus menyerahkan izin medis dari lembaga kesehatan terkemuka. Guru kelas akan bekerja sama dengan orang tua mengenai  pekerjaan sekolah selama anak-anak  tidak masuk sekolah.

Health & Sanitization
As per usual practice in the ECY/EL, we provide hand sanitizers per classroom. We likewise added hand sanitizers around the school premises including cafeterias, faculty rooms, parent waiting areas and the CAB. We continue to remind our community of personal hygiene as a pertinent preventive measure.

Kesehatan & Sanitasi
Seperti biasa di ECY / EL, kami menyediakan pembersih tangan per ruang kelas. Kami juga akan menambahkan pembersih tangan di sekitar lingkungan sekolah termasuk kafetaria, ruang guru, ruang tunggu orang tua dan CAB. Kami terus mengingatkan lingkungan kami tentang kebersihan pribadi sebagai tindakan pencegahan.

Raising Awareness
Posters and videos containing information on novel coronavirus have been displayed around the school to raise awareness and not to cause panic.

Meningkatkan Kesadaran
Poster dan video yang berisi informasi tentang novel coronavirus telah dipajang di sekitar sekolah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan tidak menyebabkan kepanikan.

Masks
In cases of cough & or colds, please make sure that your child comes to school wearing a mask. The same goes for family members as well as household helper coming to school.

Masker
Jika batuk & pilek, pastikan anak Anda datang ke sekolah mengenakan masker. Hal yang sama berlaku untuk anggota keluarga serta asisten rumah tangga/supir yang datang ke sekolah.

The safety and well-being of our BINUSIAN community is our main concern. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring that the above precautionary methods are followed.
