EL 3 - OUTREACH FIELD TRIP

[School Serpong - Auto Notification]

Dear EL 3 Parents,



As a realisation of the school's vision to be a school that produces individuals of moral character who contribute to local communities, EL 3 will conduct an outreach programme in Term 4.



The theme we adopt this year is Random Acts of Green with recycling charity as its concept. Students are going to learn how to compost, plant, sort and recycle trash with local community members as well as giving donations to them.



This compulsory outreach trip has the following objectives:

  1.  To develop a sense of responsibility for the environment by learning how to:
     *   do 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle),
     *   differentiate the organic and inorganic trash,
     *   make a compost,
     *   take care of their environment and
     *   plant a tree
  2.  To learn to make responsible decisions through daily practice of saving money for a cause and trash segregation as well as giving away unwanted items (toys).
  3.  To develop social awareness and a sense of caring for underprivileged people in the community.

1.  Backpack (no trolley bags)

2.  A cap

3.  Extra set of clothes (casual attire) and a plastic bag

4.  Drinking bottle with strap and wet tissues/hand sanitizer

5.  Personal medication (if necessary)

6.  Extra snacks

7. Insect repellent


Fee


Rp. 77 000/ per student, including lunch and healthy breakfast (non-refundable)




Please register your children by making the payment through the ATM gateway. The payment period is from Thursday, 4 April 2019 at 12.00 noon until Wednesday, 10 April 2019 at 12.00 noon.



Kindly refer to the procedures of the ATM Gateway payment in Student's Diary (pp. x-xii). Transaction ID can be seen in Parent Desk or through email. Please do not use BINUS Virtual Account to transfer your payment.
