A Move Towards a More Environment Friendly School

Dear Binusian Parents,

The Bye Bye Plastic Bag (BBPB) Club of MSHS in collaboration with Bina Nusantara's General Affairs Division, have come up with actions to support the non-use of plastics in school.  With this, kindly be guided by the following:


  1.  Starting November 11, all tenants/vendors in the food court/canteen will only provide stainless utensils.  Take away packaging materials will shift to the use of paper, oxium eco-plas, or cassava eco-plas.   Mika plastic containers, styrofoam, plastic straws, plastic spoons and forks, and single-use chopsticks will no longer be available. Everyone is encouraged to bring personal lunchboxes/reusable food containers for food take-aways as alternative.



  1.  Stainless steel utensils and straws, foldable food containers, tumblers, trash bag, tote bags are now available in the Business Centre



  1.  All vending machines will only display drinks in tetra and can packaging beginning 1st week of December 2019

We need everyone's support and concerted effort in making our school a plastic-free community.  A week's grace period from 4 - 8 November will take place where everyone is encouraged to shift to environment friendly food keepers, utensils etc.
