Model G20(MG20), Youth Leadership Summit 2020

[School Serpong - Auto Notification]

Dear MG20 Parents,

In light of the outbreak of a new form of coronavirus which originated in China, the School has decided to cancel the participation of our students in this year's Model G20 (MG20) Youth Leadership Summit Shanghai scheduled on the 27th January - 3rd of February 2020.  Kindly note that the organisers of the MG20 has advised of the event's postponement until further notice.  As you may have gathered from recent news, a good number of countries are taking necessary precautions, particularly involving travels to and from China at this time.

This decision has been made with the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff at the topmost of our priority.  We do understand that this may cause some disappointment from your children so we hope you can also help in explaining the seriousness of the situation to them.

The School is waiting for feedback from the airline and the organisers for a possible refund of fees paid.  We will update everyone as soon as we get confirmation regarding this matter.
